Adoption Ceremonies/Parties
There is nothing more thrilling than documenting families who are adopting a child. We will spend up to two hours at the courthouse documenting the ceremony/hearing and photographing the newly branded family photos directly after.

How do I contact you regarding booking a session?

Do you have a studio you shoot in?
Our specialty is on-location photography, which means a destination outside the studio is chosen (ie. park, beach, your home, etc).
When do you schedule sessions?
We like to schedule outdoor sessions in the early morning or late afternoon. If it's an at home session then anytime during the day is fine.
How long does the photo session last?
Our family and senior sessions are about an hour (sometimes more if we think we didn't get everything we wanted).
Do you offer photography gift certificates?
Yes! And they are GREAT idea for baby showers, birthdays and the holidays.
How long after the shoot will it be until I receive the photographs?
On average, your online gallery will be ready to view two weeks after the session. Prints and products are generally ready approximately 3-4 weeks after the order is placed.
Do you photograph weddings?
Yes. To see our wedding website, visit www.freestyleweddings.com - we only book 20 weddings per year so each one gets our undivided attention!
What clothing should be worn?
1. Pick three colors (one being a neutral) and put together outfits with those colors only. More than three colors can seem a bit busy. Neutrals include black, white, gray, khaki, etc.
2. Think coordinating, not matching. Again, unless you want your family picture to look straight out of 1990, try to not match outfits exactly.
3. Try and pick colors that complement the surrounding environment. Navy blue and white are classic color choices for a beach session.
If you want to take this one step further (if you plan on displaying this picture in your home), try and choose colors that will compliment your home decor.
4. Use your brightest colors as accessories. You don’t want the brightest colors detracting from the most important part of the picture: the PEOPLE!

What should we bring for our baby and/or child?
A snack, tissues, baby wipes, blanket, and any accessories you want to incorporate!
How should I do my make-up?
We always suggest keeping a natural palette. You always have the option of hiring a professional makeup artist and we can offer suggestions as to who to hire for that.
